News Release:

Mixed Use Project to Redefine Rural Living

With a master plan and design language respectful of the history of eastern Pennsylvania, Milford Village endeavors to harmonize modern living with the charming rural character of Upper Bucks. Careful selection of land uses and attention to architectural detail ensures that Milford Village contributes to the growth of the region without compromising the essential qualities that make it a desirable place to live. "People recognize that we have a lot of potential at this location and the demographics are great," said Del Markward, President of Caracor.

In addition to existing lifecare and day care facilities, the master plan calls for a 120-bed assisted living facility, 90,000 SF of medical office space, 30,000 SF of local retail space, 250,000 SF of regional retail space, 50,000 SF of restaurant pad space, 30,000 SF of miscellaneous commercial space and 350 homes, including 30 single-family detached homes on one half to one acre lots, 150 apartment units, 100 condominiums and 80 townhomes. Architectural and landscaping details have been established to correspond with the appearance and style of Upper Bucks buildings.

"We're really excited about this project," said Development Manager Sean Murray. "We have an excellent location, good highway access and we're positioned squarely between two very attractive markets. I think people are going to very pleased and impressed with this project when we're finished."
